Wonderful
We were welcomed by our lovely hosts and shown around the apartment, provided advice on things to do and see, and some home made dessert. The apartment is a good size and within walking distance of central Bade-Baden. An older style, but very comfortable and welcoming, accommodation surrounded by forest.

Forest and culture!
Located at the edge of Baden-baden and of the forest. Walk into town either over meadows or down a wooded dene. Walk out of the house into the Black Forest; nearby beerhouse on meadow at forest edge. We found enough to do in the valley without needing to go on trips to elsewhere in the Black Forest. Enjoyed walking on the Panoramaweg through the forest high above the town yet also easy to walk doewn to the Festspielhaus, the Burda Modern art gallery or the Lichtentalerallee.
Walk up the hill back to the flat from the town - but we were there for the hills and woods so hey!

Perfect
It was all great, place was wonderful and the host Úrsula is just awesome, nice, cute and a great person.
The house is beautiful, great space, equipped with all you need and good internet connection to work.
That I had to pay as extra city taxes. It has nothing to do with the house or the host but it would be good that it is already included in the price or that booking would let us know in advance.

A perfect escape with all modern amenities
Perfect place to relax, unwind and spend a full week in Nature. The apartment has all amenities that one expects in a FeWo ( Holiday Apartment). The owners are really nature lovers and have designed the place as a perfect get away for anyone who spends too much time in the city noise or busy schedules. It is also a perfect place for remote work with a proper work table and WiFi connection.
The hostess is really warm and welcoming. She showed us the apartment and explained everything with lots of patience. All facilities that are listed in the description were available. She also gave us tips about the area including a small beer garden overlooking the black forest. She even dropped us to the station which was highly appreciated.
The apartment is spacious for two people and gives you enough areas to just sit and read a book. It has a fully functioning kitchen, small porch for enjoying nature and sunshine and nice living area with TV. If you find this place and are looking for a quite vacation rental, I will highly recommend it. If you have your own car then there is no problem at all in moving around. Otherwise, after a short 8-10 mins hike you can reach Festspiel Haus and get connections to the city, Ruhestein, Mummelsee and all other tourist places. Supermarket Netto is also 3 mins from Festspiel Haus so it is quite convenient. Yes, carrying stuff uphill can be a challenge and that is where you can take a taxi that will bring you up in 4 mins.
There was nothing I didn't like. if you are arriving with public transport, I recommend you take a taxi for the first time to avoid hiking uphill with your luggage. The FeWo is alongside the famous Panorama Weg (hiking path) so if you enjoy discovering new routes you will love it's location. Yes, climbing up can be a challenge but it's quite accessible and after a few times you will start to enjoy it.
Some people have also mentioned about the bathroom being small but we found it to be ok. We were hardly bothered by it as we spent most of the time in other parts of the apartment or outside.
